RCS Outdoor Writers Inc. is a multi-faceted company located in Putnam, Mercer & Sullivan Counties in Missouri. We will collect, write and broker your hunting success articles to major hunting magazines. This information will meet the needs of the hunting public as defined by specific magazine editors using their writing guidelines and backed up with personal communication. Award winning field writers and staff will develop "how to" articles that provide the reader with an adventure story with tips and information that allow the reader to increase his or her hunting skills while becoming aware of the services you offer.

Lodging/Meals/and guide: Included in the guided hunt only. The semi-guided do it yourself hunt is access to the tree stands, a tour of the property, and a map of the property.

Our Mission is two fold: While we want to provide national and regional magazine editors with manuscripts that meet their magazine needs, we also want to help make participating outfitters more successful by presenting their success stories to the public. These articles will increase bookings! Hunters need to know what you offer.

Because a season of fully booked hunts is so important to the bottom line, we have subcontracted with two booking agencies to provide this service at no cost to the outfitter.

We have helped many new outfitters get started and experienced outfitters learn how to become more efficient and increase profits while keeping up with changes that will maintain their edge booking future clientele. Our involvement allows us to work with the most knowledgeable hunting authorities available. Outfitters and guides know the tricks of the trade to put a buck on the wall or bring a bull elk to camp. We can provide the added expertise to match your business success to your hunting success - both vital requirements in the outfitting business.

We serve as an Outfitter Consultant Company that works with both new and established outfitters to provide a business plan, free advertising options, a hunting profile and a sound business process that will increase productivity and provide a competitive edge.

The best Archery time to hunt in Missouri is the first two weeks in November, before the gun season begins. This would be Sunday November 1st to Friday November 13th 2009

Rifle season is during the mid November rut even though it flows out before and after the season. The rifle hunting dates is Saturday November 14th to Tuesday November 24th 2009.

We don't offer a muzzleloader hunt to allow our deer to go into the winter in the best condition possible so that we can be provided with a maximum fawn crop and antler growth.

Archer & Rifle Hunts can be a number of different configurations and prices to match. As a norm the deer taken are in the 140 class area because of our limited hunting, food available, and woodlot cover. All licenses are available over the counter and there are no point restrictions.
