Welcome to Legendary Antlers! Our site offers hunters the chance to brag about that trophy whitetail buck, monster muley, or big bull elk they shot lost year - well, or just check out everyone elses! Members upload hunting images into photo albums, and associate them with a location on the map. This gives other hunters the chance to browse for hunting photos by geographical location.
Legendary Antlers was developed to provide an online forum for hunter's to share their hunting images and stories with other hunters - or to put it another way give us all a chance to unashamedly brag about that big buck we got last year! The site also offers map-based hunt journals (to record daily hunt activity including wind direction and speed, temperature, moon phase, animal activity, etc.), and real-world gear reviews - reviews by real users in real hunting situations.
The hunt journal entries and images that are uploaded are associated with a geographical location so you can browse using the map. Journal entries may be searched for by date or species (with other options for searching coming soon). After you register (which is free) you can add your own images, comment and rate other member images, and review your favorite hunting gear or put together a personal hunting gear list. If the gear you want to review is not on the list, feel free to submit a request - we will let you know when/if it is added.
Now, we want you to be able to keep your secret spot a secret, so the images you upload and the journal entries you make are only shown publically at the county and state you specify, but they are available at the exact location for your own private records and viewing purposes.
For those of us that like to research these things, we have included the last four years of official B&C records for certain species. We plan on adding more - so keep checking back!
More updates coming soon! You may have noticed and some changes to album layouts - and that we have added Google Earth as a map option (requires a free browser plug-in)! We have also addressed several small bugs and are currently working on resolving a confilct with multiple images posted in one geographical location. We expect to have things ready to go within the coming week and will announce the next drawing shortly! Keep checking back!
