Welcome to George Lake Camp Outfitting. The camp is located 81 air miles from La Ronge, Saskatchewan in Canada. This is one of the most scenic fly-in camps in Canada. It is also the only camp on the lake and accessible only by float plane which will fly your group from La Ronge to George Lake Camp and back and is included in our package trips. Its lakefront cabins are on a stunningly beautiful sand beach in a peaceful pine/birch setting. We offer excellent fishing and black bear hunting in the remote Canadian wilderness. There are well-maintained roads all the way to La Ronge, which is located 600 miles north of the Montana/North Dakota borders. This is the perfect vacation spot to get away from it all.

George Lake has over 4,000 acres of crystal clear water with many bays, coves and islands. It has an abundance of northern pike, lake trout, and whitefish from eating size to trophy size and you won't need a guide to catch them, but local guides are available for an extra fee. In 2003 we began a regulated catch-and-release (with barbless hooks) type 1 (CR1) policy to keep George Lake a major trophy lake, but you can keep a number of fish each day to eat in camp. We have a fleet of 14-foot aluminum boats with 9.9 hp Evinrude motors to get you around to the best fishing spots. A short walk away there is another lake with walleye and northern pike for you walleye enthusiasts. We are members of the Saskatchewan Outfitters Association. To stay in touch with the rest of the world we have a satellite phone.

New for 2006: 50X20 foot log kitchen/dining lodge. This increases our guest capacity to 12, so you can bring all your friends.

Accomodations

The camp has three cabins with wood heat and four clean, comfortable beds in each cabin. A separate hot shower building will refresh you after a long day of fishing. The camp also has a new lodge-kitchen and dining area.

Bear Hunting - Spring 2009

7-Day Hunting & Fishing Package: $3000.00 US per person, including taxes. Package includes round trip airfare from La Ronge, hunting guide, freezing of hides, meals, 14 ft. boat w/ motor, cabin w/ bedding, and hot showers. Bear & fishing licenses are also included. Hunt is in Zone 74 of Saskatchewan, Canada.

We are offering a 7-day spring black bear hunting and fishing package from Sunday to the next Sunday. No big game hunting is allowed on Sundays in Saskatchewan. You can use archery or rifle and we will bait the bear into the hunting area. Metal tree platforms are provided.

* A $500 deposit per person is required upon booking - balance due on arrival. Non-refundable if canceled within 90 days of booked date. Book early to confirm your trip.

4 Days - $1,200.00 (US) per person
5 Days - $1,350.00             6 Days - $1,500.00          7 Days - $1,650.00
Extra days over 7: $100/day

Package requires a $200 deposit when booking to confirm dates. Non-refundable if canceled within 90 days of booked date. Balance due upon arrival.

Above rates include: Round trip airfare from La Ronge, SK. 14 ft. motor boat and gas, Full meals, cabin with bedding, hot showers, and applicable taxes. Children 12 and under are half price.

Fishing license is extra and available at George Lake Lodge or in La Ronge.
