Caryonah Hunting Lodge
CARYONAH HUNTING LODGE is located in ideal hunting, but easily accessible, area of the Cumberland Mountains of Tennessee. CARYONAH has several thousand acres of the finest hunting territory available. You may reach it with ease from the North or South via Hwy 127 or the East and West by I-40 (Exit 311) or Hwy 70.
Crossville’s modern 5,400 foot paved airport with 24-hour flight service is ideally suited to even large chartered groups of hunters. We will be happy to arrange transportation to and from the Crossville airport, for our airborne groups. For commercial flights you may choose either the Nashville (BNA) or the Knoxville (TYS) airports which are only about a hour and a half hour drive from us.
Once living only in the forests of Europe, the wild boar was introduced into Tennessee in 1912 by wealthy English sportsmen, found the hills and hollows to his liking and grew even more fierce as he multiplied in the mountains. Fast and dangerous, he sports razor-sharp tusks and hulking shoulders to back up his short and cunning charges. A foe worthy of any huntsman’s steel. Now an mixture of both the Russian Wild Boar and the famed southern “razorback,” he has, if anything, gained a more savage temper - YOU’LL BE PROUD OF YOUR TROPHY BOAR!

Lodge Information
Upon returning from your day of hunting with our experienced guides, amid our mountain majesty, dine in splendor at the high beamed “Hunter’s Hall” - on real Tennessee Home Cooking! Then toast your shins before the rustic fireplace while swapping hunting yarns in congenial company. You may want to browse among Caryonah’s outstanding collection of Indian artifacts and antique gun collection before retiring to your rooms, each with private bath and shower.
AFTER A SUCCESSFUL HARVEST—Your kill is field dressed and hauled from the woods to our walk-in cooler by your professional guide. Meat processing and taxidermy service is available for your convenience at an additional fee.
Payment
We accept cash, company checks, travelers checks, money orders or credit cards (3% fee) for hunt balances. Personal checks are accepted for deposits only. PERSONAL CHECKS are NOT ACCEPTED for hunt balances.
