Montana Hunting Trips

Bearpaw Outfitters conduct guided Montana mule deer hunts and trophy whitetail deer hunts on private land deer hunting leases in central and eastern Montana. Archery and rifle Antelope hunts are offered on an 87,000 acre antelope hunting lease which also has excellent Coyote and Prairie Dog hunting. Buffalo hunts are available on private Buffalo hunting ranches and Bearpaw Outfitters also have excellent archery deer hunting opportunities on a bow hunting only whitetail deer lease.

Idaho Hunting Camps And Lodge

The Outfitters

"Dale & Tara Denney" the owners of Bearpaw Outfitters have been outfitting and guiding hunters for over 30 years, they have survived the test of time and are one of very few hunting outfitters who meet all membership standards and are accredited by the Better Business Bureau. Outfitting is the fulltime, lifetime, family business for the Denney's. Dale and Tara have devoted their lives to outfitting and guiding hunting trips. Dale and his father Ralph set most of the hunting camps, Tara and June (Dale's wife and mother), do most of the cooking, and son Brian Denney and Anthony Neidlinger do much of the pre-season scouting and positioning of archery hunting and rifle hunting blinds.

Hunting Options and Accommodations

Trophy Hunts, Combo Hunts, Budget Hunts, and Meat Hunts are offered with Special Rates available for large groups. Several guiding options are available including Fully Guided, Semi-Guided, and Unguided Hunts. A variety of accommodations are available including Lodges & Cabins, Hosted Tent Camps, Town "Motel" Hunts, Drive-In Drop Camps, and Horseback Drop Camp.

Hunting License and Tags

Idaho Hunting Licenses: Mule deer, elk, cougar, grouse, and coyote licenses are available over-the-counter. Moose hunting licenses must be drawn but are the easiest to draw of any state in the lower 48.

Montana Hunting Licenses: There are guaranteed outfitter licenses for Whitetail, mule deer, and elk. Archery antelope have been a 100% draw and we had 92% draw on rifle antelope in 2008.

Utah Hunting Licenses: Mule deer, elk, cougar, and most bird hunting licenses are available over-the-counter for many areas. Hunters must draw licenses for moose, turkey, desert bighorn sheep, and limited-entry deer, elk, and cougar areas.

Washington Hunting Licenses: Deer, bear, turkey, elk, cougar, and bird hunting licenses are available over-the-counter. Hunters must draw licenses for moose, hound hunting cougar, and bighorn sheep.
